Personality of Me

I was born on a Wednesday, and while looking up what that would mean for me personality wise, I found that meant I was supposed to be intelligent, adaptable, wise, curious, and communication. As I read about what I was supposed to be as a Wednesday, I got to thinking about all the other personality tests and birth charts that are thrust upon us when we enter the world. The sticky notes on the back wall represent each of these charts and tests. I chose the Meyers-Briggs personality test, the zodiac chart, Wednesday personality traits, and Harry Potter Hogwarts house and there are sticky notes representing each one. If they correlated with the still life, the stick notes were put up in the background. The Fox is a representation of adaptability and curiosity while the candle, the scroll, and the apple are intelligence and wisdom. The journals, the conversation hearts, and the coffee cup all represent communication. The background wallpaper represents colors that associate with being a Wednesday child or even my zodiac sign. The blue background represents calm, and the green is growth, balance, and harmony. The background itself is based on JP Terlizzi’s work where he prints out backgrounds that match the still life and in some cases blend into the still life he is creating. The lighting used gives the still life a very light and calming mood. It is a feel of sitting in a room with the coupling of the wallpaper background. The set up feels like a personal conversation, or a look into someone's private life.
